Gold Line Belt

  • The Gold Line belt is located in the Västerbottens Län mining region of Northern Sweden, 600 km north of Stockholm. The Gold Line belt is a north south trending Paleoproterozoic greenstone belt formed during the Svecofennian orogeny. The Gold Line Belt is located on the western end of the Skellefte polymetallic VMS belt, which contains current and past producers such as Boliden, Kristineberg, and Bjorkdal, and hosts several significant gold deposits, including the Barsele project (operated as a joint venture between Agnico Eagle Mines Ltd. and Barsele Minerals Corp), the past producing Svartliden mine and Fäboliden development project (operated by Dragon Mining Ltd), the past producing Blaiken mine, and Störtjarnhobben deposit.
  • Gold Line Resources controls the largest land position by an exploration company in the heart of Sweden’s Gold Line Belt, with over 60,000 Ha in four project areas: Paubäcken, Storjuktan, Klippen and Långtjärn.
